Best Southwestern Food in Española

Came in a couple times while in the area. The service is friendly and quick and the menu has many options with breakfast served all day. The breakfast burritos are big and filling, the green & red sauce (Christmas is what New Mexicans call it) is good, the green being hotter of the two. The bacon is nice and thick. The omelette is good with the green sauce. The biscuits & gravy is okay wish it was sausage gravy but I crumbled my sausage. Kids plates plentiful and the cost is not high.…

The bean & cheese stuffed sopapilla, topped with Christmas (green & red chile peppers) was so delicious! The waitress even brought us some warm sopapillas but didn't have any cinnamon sugar (that's how we do it in Texas) but they were good dipped in the local honey they brought us.

Been stopping here for last couple of years when we're in Espanola and it is always a hit. I tried the relleno plate this last time and WOW, great rellenos with beef and wonderful green chile toppings. It was chile season but many times restaurants will still use machine prepared frozen stock. These were made fresh! Nice. Very nice front and kitchen staff. Chicharrone Stuffed Sopapilla, taste like home. Red chile was so flavorful and spicy!!! And the chicharrone was fried to perfection!!! Service was top-notch!!!

Excellent service the food was really great. I recommend the chicken fried steak with a side of x-mas . Our waiter was awesome and the restaurant was clean and welcoming. The breakfast burritos are also Great. The speed of service was fantastic. Great for family breakfast and lunch.
